Ever sent an email and noticed the wrong recipient a second after clicking Send?
A short send delay holds the message in your outbox for a minute or two before it actually leaves. Spot the mistake, open the message, fix it.
Who should have it
Anyone who regularly sends payroll, contracts, fee proposals, tender submissions or client personal data. In a practice that's usually the directors, finance and the PAs.
How to do it in Outlook
Classic Outlook can do it with a rule that defers delivery by a set number of minutes. New Outlook and Outlook on the web have an Undo send window you can set to up to 10 seconds. Neither slows down normal email in a way anyone notices.
Test it with a message to yourself. If you want it configured consistently across the team, ask us.
